About Bold Business

Bold Business is an AI-first company building software, automation, and AI agents that support Sales, Marketing, Recruiting, and other business functions.

About the Role

We are looking for a developer with strong Python and SQL skills, practical PostgreSQL experience, and hands-on Power BI experience.

You will connect business systems, manage data, automate workflows, and create dashboards that help internal teams and clients run their operations. You will also learn to improve and integrate our AI agents, with technical guidance and code review from our Lead Architect.

Prior AI agent experience is helpful but not required. We value solid development fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and clear communication.

What You Will Do

  • Build Python automations: Reduce manual work, process data, and improve recurring business workflows.
  • Integrate systems: Connect business platforms, databases, and applications through APIs and webhooks.
  • Manage PostgreSQL data: Create and maintain tables, write SQL queries, and improve data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop Power BI reports: Connect and prepare data, build data models and DAX measures, and deliver dashboards for client and internal projects.
  • Create operational dashboards: Help users track work and take action—for example, monitoring sales campaigns, results, and follow-up activities.
  • Support AI agent development: Learn to improve existing OpenClaw agents and integrate them with tools such as Grok Bot under the Lead Architect’s guidance.
  • Help evaluate tools and costs: Test agent capabilities, track usage, and contribute to platform comparisons and cost improvements.
  • Work directly with users: Understand requirements, demonstrate progress, gather feedback, and explain how to use the tools you build.
  • Maintain reliable systems: Test changes, troubleshoot problems, document your work, and communicate blockers promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Typically 1–3 years of hands-on development experience; demonstrated ability matters more than a strict year count.
  • Strong Python: Able to build, maintain, and debug applications, integrations, and automation scripts.
  • Strong SQL and practical PostgreSQL experience: Comfortable with joins, aggregations, data updates, table relationships, and data quality.
  • Hands-on Power BI: Experience preparing data with Power Query, building data models, writing DAX measures, and creating useful reports and dashboards.
  • API integration: Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and handling failed requests.
  • Familiarity with Git, basic testing, logging, and debugging.
  • Clear written and spoken English and the ability to work directly with business users.
  • Initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn new tools, including AI agents.
  • Consistent communication: ask questions, share progress, and raise issues early.

Nice to Have

  • Personal or professional experience building AI agents or LLM-powered workflows.
  • Familiarity with OpenClaw, LLM APIs, or other agent tools.
  • JavaScript and React experience for building interactive application interfaces.
  • Automation platforms such as n8n or Make.
  • Cloud hosting, Docker, or application deployment.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Recruiting workflows.

Compensation & Details

  • Location: Remote, Latin America, India, Philippines.
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and demonstrated skills.
  • Schedule: Regular overlap with US working hours.
  • Support: Technical guidance and code review from our Lead Architect.
  • Benefits: Equipment provided and health insurance included.

To apply, share your resume and brief examples of a Python automation or integration and a Power BI dashboard you built. Explain your contribution and the business problem each solved.
